What's the dumbest shot you've ever seen?

I was watching NBA's top 10 plays for every position 2015/16 on youtube where I came across Matt Barnes's game winner against the Pistons. The Grizzlies were down 2 and had 3 timeouts remaining with enough time left to set up a play, but after grabbing the rebound, Barnes decided to shoot from half court as if his life depended on it and drain the game winner. I honestly don't care he made that shot, it was the most retarded thing I've ever seen.

Have you seen a dumber shot than this or likewise?

我刚在油管上看了上赛季NBA 各个位置的十佳球，然后我看到了马特巴恩斯面对活塞投进的绝杀球。当时灰熊落后两分，手握三次暂停，有足够的时间布置最后一攻。但是抓下篮板之后，巴恩斯决定在半场拔起就射，好像他的生死命悬一线一般，然后他竟然投进了！说实在的我并不在乎他有没有投进，但这次投篮选择绝对是我见过最智障的了！

各位jrs还有没有见过更愚蠢糟糕的或者类似的投篮？

I can understand why refs wouldn't give but that should have been a foul if you're going by letter of the law. Diaw had his hands on Westbrook's mid section while shooting a shot.

I'm not the biggest JR Smith fan but I don't really see how that shot was that dumb. Tie game with 20 seconds left and a 40% 3 point shooter has a wide open look? I'd take that every single time, theres no way you get a better look than that.

Unless it's a layup you should typically wait until the clock is lower cause if you make it then the game is over, if you miss they other team can't win it at the other end.

There's a solid argument to say that an unknown shot attempt at the end of the game has less favorable odds than a good 3 point shooter with a WIDE open 3.

Ideally you'd want a last second shot, but a wide open look for a good shooter has a very solid argument.

It wasn't 40 ft (probably not 30 ft either), but it was still dumb since it was such a terrible shot and they had around 6 seconds left to find a better one.
